25 of something does not always seem like that much, however, 25 years as a band is a huge accomplishment. That’s exactly the achievement for which Silverstein can be applauded. Launching themselves in 2000, the last 25 years have been full of tours, albums, and memories that the fans and band members will keep forever. To celebrate this milestone, the band has brought fans The 25 Years of Noise Tour. On May 14th, this leg of the tour concluded in Greensboro, NC, to a packed-out venue, and we were lucky enough to be a part of that night!

The night promised to be unforgettable, with Greyhaven, Broadside, and Real Friends sharing the stage on this leg of the tour. Fans poured into Hangar 1819, their excitement palpable as they prepared for the first band to take the stage. The energy in the room buzzed with anticipation, signaling a night full of powerful performances and lasting memories.

Greyhaven

Kicking off the night was Greyhaven, and they wasted no time in setting a wild tone with their punchy metal-core sound, and of course getting the pit opened up! Their gritty sound and rowdy stage presence combine for a momentous set that gets the crowd hyped up and leaves a remarkable impression on anyone seeing them for the first time. They flowed seamlessly through their songs, never letting the crowd lose their excitement. It was the perfect start to the night, and fans were only ready for more as the guys left the stage.

Broadside

Broadside hit the stage with infectious momentum, quite literally grooving their way into the spotlight. From the moment frontman Oliver Baxxter took hold of the mic, he was in constant motion—dancing, jumping, and engaging the crowd with boundless energy. It was more than a performance; it was a celebration of passion, and it was clear how much the band truly loves what they do. Their set featured a dynamic mix of songs, including their newest track, “I Think They Know.” Fans sang along word-for-word, mirroring Ollie’s every dance move with enthusiasm. Between the high-octane songs, the band sprinkled in lighthearted banter and inside-joke-style humor that made the crowd feel like part of their inner circle. The performance left the audience buzzing and more than ready for what was still to come.

Real Friends

In the blink of an eye, we were already at the third band of the night, Real Friends. For me, this was the band I knew the least about, but after their set, I was hooked! The connection between the fan and the artist was magical during the performance. With vocalist Cody Muraro, crowd surfing, and even going into the center of the crowd to sing. Their energy pulsed through every corner of Hangar 1819, and it wouldn’t be surprising if people passing by outside felt it too. Fans roared with delight the moment the vocalist from Broadside, Oliver, apparently got lost on his way to the bathroom and made an appearance on stage to sing with the band. Heavy riffs, throaty screams, and melodic vocals were in abundance throughout the set, and the crowd was eating it up. Circle pits and crowd surfing were never-ending and kept the energy in full swing until the very last note!

Silverstein

As the venue lights faded to black, a wave of anticipation swept over the crowd, their energy teetering on the edge of eruption. A hush fell over the room as Shane's voice echoed through the speakers, narrating a heartfelt video montage that traced Silverstein’s journey from their modest beginnings to the powerful force they remain today. The moment the band appeared on stage, the audience erupted—pure chaos in the best way. The chorus of voices singing along was proof of just how deeply these songs resonate. Silverstein delivered a flawless performance, weaving through the different eras of their discography with precision and passion. It was a set that not only celebrated their legacy but reminded everyone why their fanbase remains so fiercely loyal. It was the perfect way to end this leg of their 25 Years of Noise Tour!
